Summa Education Expands to Inland North County with Rancho Bernardo Office Opening

Summa Education Opens RB Office
SAN DIEGO, CALIF. — May 8, 2013 – Summa Education, a premier college admissions, enrichment and SAT test preparation company headquartered in San Diego, has announced the opening of its newest branch at 12230 World Trade Drive, Suite 150 in Rancho Bernardo.

“When Summa Education was launched in October 2011, we believed that with the right approach and commitment to our students, we could produce exceptional results. But none of us could have imagined that our first year would result in 20 perfect SAT scores, and hundreds of students who have improved their initial scores by leaps and bounds,” said Summa Education Founder and CEO Christopher Hamilton. “Our programs and counseling appointments at the new office are already filling up. We are so excited to have an office that is closer to all of our students and families in inland North County including those enrolled in the Poway Unified School District.”

The new 5,175-square-foot Summa office, located across the street from Rancho Bernardo’s Costco and next to the Home Depot near Carmel Mountain Road, was designed with student-teacher interaction as a high priority, with a dedicated tutoring room, a smartboard classroom, extensive glass and natural light, and easy parking and access. Designed by Hurkes Harris Design Associates and built by Ed Fernandes of ICS Pacific Builders, the site is ideally located to serve families in Rancho Penasquitos, Rancho Bernardo, 4S Ranch, Escondido, Scripps Ranch, and Temecula.
“Key Summa teaching and administrative staff will be spending time equally between our Carmel Valley and Rancho Bernardo offices,” said Summa Education’s Executive Vice President Andrew Chung. “It’s a beautiful new office and everyone is excited to be spending time in Rancho Bernardo — especially Mr. Hamilton and myself — and of course our growing Summa student family.”

A grand opening of the Summa’s Rancho Bernardo office is scheduled for May 11, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; the local community is invited to join staff for drinks and snacks.
