SAN DIEGO — June 14, 2010 — Jeremy C. Shafer has joined GERSON LAW FIRM APC (GLF) to focus on real estate transactions, including real estate finance and title insurance matters, according to Gordon Gerson, managing principal of GLF, a six-lawyer law firm based in San Diego.

Shafer has represented title companies, lenders, brokers, tenants and homeowners. Prior to joining GERSON LAW FIRM APC, Shafer was an associate at the Boss Law Firm, APLC, in San Diego, where he represented title insurance companies in connection with lender and homeowner claims. He began his legal career as in-house counsel for a real estate and mortgage banker in downtown San Diego.

Shafer received his J.D. and a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, San Diego. A resident of San Diego, Shafer is a member of the State Bar of California and is a member its Real Property Section.
