Old California Mining Company Launches a Newly Diverse Style of Homemade Foods
SAN MARCOS, CA — April 22, 2010 — Old California Mining Company announced its new Steak and Seafood Dinner Specials plus a Happy Hour menu with numerous drink specials. Old California Mining Company is located at Old California Restaurant Row at 1020 San Marcos Boulevard in San Marcos.
General Manager Scott Lucksanalamai, said, “The Old California Mining Company strives to give our guests the best service and experience. Our staff also believes we have the BEST STEAKS & HAPPY HOUR IN TOWN!” He said the Old California Mining Company is also known for its famous Smoked Applewood Tri Tip and BBQ Chicken. On Friday and Saturday they offer their famous Applewood Smoked Prime Rib (the only place in town that smokes prime rib) after 5:00 p.m. until sold out. “With a diverse selection of homemade foods and desserts, each guest is treated to an experience that will bring them back for more,” said Lucksanalamai.
Old California Mining Company’s lunch specials offer quick and convenient items 7 days a week. The specials are served from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m and start at only $5.99. Items featured include Homemade Tri-tip Chili, a Fully Stocked Salad Bar, Delicious Homemade Mac n Cheese, ½ BBQ Chicken Basket, and the Open Face Smoked Applewood Tri Tip Sandwich.
Old California Mining Company, North County’s Favorite Steakhouse and Saloon, is now featuring new Dinner specials created by Chef Hector Rosales including the New York Surf N Turf, a hand-cut 12 oz New York choice steak grilled to the diner’s liking, served with Coconut Shrimp and a loaded Baked Potato, and their Famous Whiskey Ribeye, a hand-cut ribeye seasoned with old cowhand spices and grilled to the diner’s liking, drizzled with a delicious unique whiskey peppercorn sauce and served with garlic mashed potatoes.
Seafood dinner specials include the Lemon Pepper Salmon — fresh salmon smothered with artichokes, mushrooms, capers and green onions, served over a wild rice blend. Also, the Monterey Mahi Mahi — grilled to perfection Mahi Mahi topped with mushrooms sautéed in garlic lemon butter, tomatoes and green onions, served over a wild rice blend.
Old California Mining Company’s new outstanding nightly drink specials include Monday $5 Dollar U Call it drinks; Tuesday is On Tap For Happy Hour price; Wednesday and Sunday are Half Price Bottle of Wine; Thursday is $5 OCMC Martini night; Friday is $1 Off Specialty Drinks; and Saturday is $5 Ultimate Margarita Night.
OCMC’s “Best Happy Hour in Town” menu features such favorites as Dollar Tacos, Bar Tri-Tip, Chicken Quesadilla, Nachos, Cheese Bacon Fries, Fifty Cent Wings and Boneless Buffalo Wings. Happy Hour is served Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to close, Friday 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
