Civilian Paraloft Grambo, Inc. To Hold Grand Opening on October 1 at New El Cajon Offices

EL CAJON, CA — (September 29, 2009) — Grambo, Inc., a new civilian paraloft company dedicated to aviation life support and VIP pilot services, will hold its official grand opening on Thursday, October 1 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1050 Pioneer Way, Suite D adjacent to Gillespie Field, in El Cajon, CA. The event will feature parachute inspections and re-packing demonstrations, raffling for a free stay at Sycuan Resort and Casino and a barbecue for attendees.

Noah “Grambo” Graeme, who has served the military and civilian aviation communities for over 14 years, founded Grambo, Inc. as a Navy Parachute Rigger, Graeme realized early in his career that extreme attention to detail is necessary to ensure the pilots safety and survival.

“Grambo is an all-inclusive civilian Paraloft that is the home of choices, high quality maintenance and craftsmanship for all aviation needs and aviation life support,” said Noah “Grambo” Graeme. “Whether you are a serious collector of flight gear, an acrobatic biplane pilot, or an F-18 Fighter Ace, you can find what you are looking for here, and if you don’t we’ll get it or make it for you.”

As one of the leading civilian paralofts in California, Grambo, Inc. provides Aviation Life Support inspections for Warbird Flight Schools, Test Pilot Schools and personal pilots who want their flight gear maintained to MIL-SPEC standards.

“When combat squadrons deploy into enemy territory, they require camouflage helmet covers to hide their reflective taped helmet from the enemy,” said Graeme. “At Grambo, that is one of their most popular products. The squadron’s Parachute Riggers or PR’s, find it very arduous to manufacture 80-100 of these covers months and sometimes weeks before they deploy. Many squadrons worldwide have found that using Grambo can relieve this burden.”

All Grambo inspections are performed in accordance with current military and manufacturers maintenance manuals, inspection procedures, and calibrated equipment. Services including the certification and repack of any seat, chest and back parachutes, with a hassle free 180-day inspection cycle, with pick up and delivery throughout Southern California, and free shipping for pilots that use Grambo exclusively. Grambo also does inspections for seat survival kit repacks, life preservers, life rafts, oxygen regulators, aviation flight helmets, oxygen masks (MBU-12 and MBU-20 series) and anti-G garments inspection for experimental aircraft.

Grambo’s products include new and used emergency parachutes, flight and survival equipment, including gear from Communications Ear Plugs (CEP); ACR Electronics, makers of military strobe lights and 406 mhz personal locator beacons; and ANR Modules for active noise reduction. In addition, Grambo’s skilled craftsmen can manufacture custom survival vests which hold a well stocked yet compact survival kit for use over land or water.

Grambo’s Aviation Physiology Training for individuals or groups focuses on the physiology of flight and the importance of properly fitting flight gear; proper parachute egress, performance during flight and proper landing to survive; and survival techniques over water or land. The company also provides American Heart Association CPR training.

Grambo, Inc. is a certified manufacturer by the state of California and is a registered business with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Dun & Bradstreet and has provides services for a number of military commands and governmental agencies. The company also does custom manufacturing including custom awnings, tool and food pouches, oxygen mask covers, warbird accessories, aviation helmet covers, aircraft canopy covers and wardroom headrest covers.

The company also provides a complimentary Pilot Concierge Service to all pilots with special rates at the Sycuan Resort and Casino. Grambo’s VIP Pilot Service provides deep discounts on all products and services for a monthly fee. Pilots receive free parachute certifications, free hotel stays, car rental services and free shipping. There are three levels of membership with different levels of free benefits.

“We do more than just parachutes”, said Graeme. “You can drop by and watch WWII warbird movies and have a cold beverage in our lobby while you get your O2 mask cleaned, have your flight helmet repaired or painted whatever color scheme you want. We also can fit you for a custom survival vest, and you can even get your parachute repacked — while you wait. We take pride in our world-class customer service and genuine care for aviators’ lives, hence our motto ‘Pride in Life’.”

Grambo, Inc. provides service to well known associations such as the National Test Pilot School, Worldwide Warbirds, Classic Jets Association, Gauntlet Warbirds, Air Group One-CAF, Classic Fighters of America, Red Star Pilots Association and Air Force Association and Warbird Alley.
